Q + A

What airport should I use?

The Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is the most convenient airport to travel into, but Fort Walton Beach (VPS) and Mobile (MOB) can also be good options depending on cost and timing.

Are children welcome?

Yes, please feel free to bring your children. Pensacola Beach is a great spot for a family vacation.

Do I need a rental car?

You should be able to walk most places once on Pensacola Beach, and if you want to travel from the beach inland (for Gallery night, for example), you can typically get an Uber/Lyft. There will be trollies running on the beach the weekend of the wedding, and we'll share more information once we know the schedule. (https://visitpensacolabeach.com/trolley-information/) In the past, there has also been a ferry that runs between the beach and downtown - we're still researching if that is coming back this summer and will update here when we know more. (https://www.pensacolabaycityferry.com/pensacola-ferry/)

Which hotel should we reserve?

If possible, staying on the beach is recommended. Summer traffic from Pensacola or Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach can be extreme. We plan a very quick ceremony ahead of the reception, and would hate for you to miss it! We like the Pensacola Beach Resort the most of all the options, but it is farther away from the venue than the others. Check the "Accommodations and Travel" section of this website for more details.

What days should we travel?

We will get to the Pensacola area on Thursday late/afternoon evening, and would love to get together on Friday with anyone who's around that night. Downtown Pensacola has a Gallery Night planned on the 18th and that's our tentative plan for the evening. The ceremony and reception will be in the same spot (Pier Suite) on Saturday, and anyone feeling up for it can extend the party to one of the many bars/restaurants within walking distance. We plan on brunching at Flounder's Chowder House Sunday morning, and hopefully catching some poolside or Gulfside rays that afternoon. We'll be off to our honeymoon early Monday morning. Hope that helps you plan your stay!

Where can I find your registry?

We know we have a ton of generous, creative, and loving friends and family. But, we also have two houses full of carefully cultivated belongings that we need to consolidate into one... it's an ongoing joke with us that a garage sale is more appropriate than a wedding shower! We appreciate all of you, and the best gift you could give us is to celebrate our marriage in a beautiful setting with great food, drinks, and company!

How can I RSVP?

We're still finalizing a few details before we can send out official invitations, but, once we do, we will have the opportunity for you to RSVP then. We look forward to seeing you, or celebrating another time if you can't make it!
